Montana, horses, cattle drives, descriptive horse behavior. I learned so much in this book. The descriptive writing draws you into the setting and plot. I felt as if I were there petting each horse, visualizing their individual personalities. Wesley Ann creates the Horse Thief's crime with care and depth.
